Situation/Problem:

You will create and produce a math magazine wiki. You will be responsible for the entire production of the magazine (wiki).

Remember the writing process steps: PREWRITE, ROUGHT DRAFT, EDIT, PROOF, READ, FINAL COPY

Magazine (Wiki) Design:

1.      Title Section

2.      Table of Contents

3.      6 Items from the list given to you from Groups 1 through 3 – you must pick two from each group.

How Are You Graded?

Rubric is included with the instruction packet.

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:

·         Some topics may require research. Any research should be thorough.

·         Managing time is important and essential.

·         Attempt to prepare and finish articles in advance. This will give you time for editing and revision.

·         BE PATIENT AND ORGANIZED, EXPECT THINGS MAY GO WRONG!

·         Use computers linked to the Internet to access your wiki.

·         If you are writing math problems, puzzles, or games, be sure to include an answer key at the end of your wiki page.

·         If your magazine includes artwork, decide what kind – clipart or photos.

·         All articles and literature pieces must be approved by Mr. Allaire.

YOUR FINAL MAGAZINE (WIKI) IS DUE ON THURSDAY, MAY 7TH

THIS IS WORTH TWO TEST GRADES!
